Responsibilities of a Farrier

Rights and responsibilities go hand in hand. Accessibility, accountability and transparency are expected of every self regulating profession. All legislation governing the various professions is designed to meet these requirements and to protect the public interest by ensuring a high level of education and training combined with personal and professional integrity. The Farriers (Registration) Act 1975, as amended, which governs the farriery profession is no exception.
