- Find a Farrier
The FRC provides real time access to an abbreviated version of the Register of Farriers (the “Database”), accessed via the Find a Farrier search facility, and uses reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Register is accurate and up to date.
The Database is provided as is and on an as available basis and the FRC does not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, performance or fitness for a particular purpose of the Database other than public inspection.
In no event will the FRC be liable for any loss including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss, or any damages arising from loss of use, data or profits, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with the use of this Database.

All copyright, trademarks, Database rights and other intellectual property rights including names, images, publication material, Website content and logos that may exist in this Website shall remain at all times the property of the FRC. Copying or duplication of any Website content is not permitted without the prior approval of the FRC.

The information provided by Find a Farrier (the "Database") is intended only for use by the general public to allow them to locate Registered Farriers.
All data accessed via the Database and all rights in it belongs to the FRC and the information provided is intended only for use by the general public to allow them to locate Registered Farriers.
You may retrieve the Database on a computer screen, print individual pages on paper (but not photocopy them) and store such pages in electronic form on disk (but not on any server or other storage device connected to a network) for your personal use. The Database may not be copied, reproduced, republished, downloaded, posted, broadcast or transmitted in any other way.
In accessing the Database, you agree not to adapt, alter or create a derivative work from the Database or to use it for any purpose other than public inspection. The information must not be used to compile mailing lists or databases.

We are not responsible for the content or reliability of linked to websites. Listing should not be taken as endorsement of any kind. We cannot guarantee that these links will work all of the time, and we have no control over the availability of linked pages.
We do not link to sites providing commercial services or products and we will not respond to emails from commercial websites requesting a link exchange.

Data protection
The FRC will treat all your personal details given by you via this Website confidentially in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018, and only use them for processing your request, registration application or submission of registration information via My FRC.
You should be aware that if the FRC is requested to release your details by any regulatory or government authority investigating suspected illegal activities, we are entitled to do so.
Online payments
The Website provides online payment facilities for payments relating to apprentice enrolment, registration applications, ATF applications and annual retention fees.
Payments are processed by Opayo through a 128-bit Secure Socket Layer connection (SSL). More information about how Opayo processes your information is available at www.elavon.co.uk/
No credit card data is held by the FRC.
Confirmation of your payment and application will be displayed on your screen after you successfully complete the transaction and after this has been authorised and accepted by Opayo. We recommend you print out this confirmation, as evidence of your transaction.
Payment will take a minimum of three working days to reach the account to which you are making a payment (this includes time for Opayo to notify the FRC of the payment).
Customers should take care to include a correct reference number (computer number) when making an online payment. The FRC accepts no liability for payment not reaching the intended account due to a customer omitting or quoting an incorrect reference.
Misuse of a credit card or debit card, or use without the authorisation of the legal holder of the credit card or debit card, will be dealt with in the most serious manner and the FRC reserves the right to inform the police and may take action against those committing or attempting to commit online fraud.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify the FRC against all claims, damages and expenses arising out of any breach of these online terms, and any other liability arising out of your use of this website.
Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with the law of England and Wales, and you and the FRC submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
