Guide to Professional Conduct

Upon registration with the Farriers Registration Council all Registered Farriers are issued with a copy of 'A Farrier's Guide to Professional Conduct'.

This Guide to Professional Conduct describes the principles of good farriery practice, and standards of competence, care and conduct expected of Registered Farriers in all aspects of their professional work.

The Guide is split into two parts. The first being the specific responsibilities that a Farrier should strive to adhere to and the second part being guidelines to assist Farriers with these responsibilities.

The Code cannot, of necessity, cover everything, but it is intended to set general standards.
