On 5 December 2022 at the Magistrates Court at Boston, Lincolnshire, Mr Philip Moss of Congleton, Cheshire was found guilty of a single count of unlawful farriery at Newark, Nottinghamshire on 13 March 2022. Mr Moss was represented and entered a plea of guilty. Mr Moss was convicted, and on the basis that he had entered a plea of guilty at the earliest opportunity was find £66, was subject to a victim surcharge of £34 and had costs awarded against him of £4000.
