We are delighted that apprentice farrier Rosie Dobson has been recognised as part of the prestigious Land-Based and Environmental Learner Awards. The awards programme, jointly organised by Lantra and Landex, is open to anyone on a full-time or part-time Land-Based or Environment course or apprenticeship in England and Northern Ireland. This year there were more than 200 nominations across fourteen categories, with a particularly large number of nominations for Equine and Farriery, sponsored by The Pony Club. Against strong competition, the judges were particularly impressed by Rosie’s commitment and professionalism. So much so that, as well as winning the Equine and Farriery category, Rosie also received the award for the overall Apprentice of the year.
Many congratulations Rosie.
