Warning to Registered Farriers of Suspicious Phone Calls

The FRC are urging Registered Farriers to be on their guard after receiving reports of suspicious phone calls where the callers claim to be from a childrens’ charity selling advertising space in a magazine.    The calls do not appear genuine and may be a scam. 

Farriers are encouraged to take extra care when contacted by phone or by email to consider the validity of any request and to never supply financial details or personal information.
