In order to qualify for registration persons have to complete an Apprenticeship in Farriery or period of training and pass a prescribed examination, or possess an overseas qualification recognised as an equivalent by the Council,
The FRC will issue registration forms directly to all successful candidates upon completion of the GB Apprenticeship.
Applicants for registration with farriery training and professional experience obtained outside of GB should follow the procedures for Overseas Applications.
